Title: Brigitte Sealing's Tropical Spareribs

Yield: 4 Servings

3 1/2 - 4lbs spareribs
3lgCloves of garlic
1lgOnion, sliced
1cn(20 oz) crushed pineapple,
  .undrained
1/2tsDry mustard
1 Bottle (12 oz) chili sauce
1/2cBrown sugar
1tsGround ginger

Run ribs with garlic. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange onion in a large baking pan. Place ribs on top. Add 1/4 cup water to the pan. Cover with foil. Bake in 350F oven for 1/2 hour. Combine the remaining ingredients and spoon over ribs. Bake uncovered 1 hour longer.
